In the hustle and bustle world of today, buyers are finding it more and more difficult to educate themselves in regards to the various aspects of purchasing a home. BATdorf & Associates has streamlined the process to make it much easier for today's homebuyer. Each buyer that BATdorf & Associates represents starts with a Buyer Counseling Session. This is where the home buying process is explained, and the Realtor® obtains an understanding of the wants and needs of the buyer. A special "Buyer's Book" is given to BATdorf & Associates clients which contains pertinent information  about the process, a Pinellas County map and a specially designed "Home Buyer's Scorecard."
Below you will find answers to some of the most commonly asked questions.   You can also search properties in all of Pinellas County here.

How do I know I'm getting the best value for my money?

A professional appraisal is the best solution to determine if a home is fairly priced. A real estate appraisal is an unbiased opinion of value based on some of the following factors: the value of neighboring comparable properties, construction, appearance and any special features. Most mortgage companies and brokers will require a real estate appraisal in order to receive a home loan. This is to ensure you won’t pay more than the property is currently worth.
